Established in 1993, this Bed And Breakfast is known worldwide. It is a beautiful beachside hotel business that sits only a stone's throw from the exotic black sand beaches of the South Pacific coast. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained and include many varieties of tropical flowers, palms, and trees. Nightime landscape lighting illuminates the grounds with a beautiful glow in the evening. Most of the furnishings are handcrafted locally from many different types of exotic hardwoods. The business has all licenses, permits, and approvals in hand. The business is listed in many guidebooks for Costa Rica and it has also established excellent relations with several travel agencies and tour operators who send their clients. At the back of the property is a waterfall with steps leading up to the top where guests can sit and relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the water cascading into the pools below. The business has it's own website which has recently been upgraded. The guests have the opportunity to enjoy many recreational activities in the area. These include guided horseback tours along the beach or up into the mountains, watersports such as surfing, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, surf fishing, sport fishing with one of the local guides, and more. There are two rustic thatched huts right on the beach where guests can relax in the shade, watch the waves as they roll in, and feel the stresses of the modern world melt away as they doze lazily in the warm tropical breeze.
